Quackers & Waddles

These 2 ducks think they run the whole sanctuary. The pigs are their best friends. We rescued them when they were babies. There were 3 of them, but one died before we got home.

Quackers was attacked by a hawk, and we took him to UGA. They were able to save his life. He stayed in ICU for 2 weeks, came home, and then had to go back. After another 2 weeks, he was released, and we made sure both of them were never left outside alone again.

Quackers is a mama’s boy. I have to walk around carrying him or have him in a stroller. He has gotten arthritis, and some days it’s hard for him to walk, but he is a fighter and never stopped fighting after he was attacked.
