Rocky
Rocky was dumped at a horse farm close to the Atlanta airport. We got a call asking for help. This was my daughter’s first rescue alone.
She went to pick up Rocky and immediately called and said, “Mama, something is wrong. He seems to be really hot and is having problems breathing.”
She rushed him to the vet, and his temperature was 106. The vet said if she hadn’t brought him in, he wouldn’t have made it through the night. He had upper respiratory infections, skin issues, and mites.
He went home later that afternoon with our daughter along with 8 bottles of medication. She really did do a great job; she saved him. Rocky became her boy.
Rocky knew he was loved, recovered so quickly, and now has a great life.
