Socks

This boy was left at a farm where the farmer just up and left one day, leaving all the animals behind. Socks was living with dead animals and not much shelter at all — not even enough to cover him when the storms came.

Socks would find ways to get out of there. He would walk down a main street munching on grass and doing whatever he wanted to do. One day we got a call telling us what was going on and asking if we could please take him in. There was no way we could allow Socks to live there any longer, especially with him getting out and walking in the streets.

We were out of room and had no idea where to put another pig, but we did what we knew we had to do and made it work.

He is the biggest gentle giant, such a sweet big baby who loves getting all the attention. He has made his best friends here, Lilo & Stitch. They hang out all day trying to get into mischief.

Socks is living a happy and healthy life now. He is cared for and loved.
